Drain Re-lining

ARD local have many years experience in drain re-lining.

Drain re-lining is a way of replacing a new pipe within an existing damaged pipe without any costly excavation, and minimal disruption to the surrounding areas. ARD Local can re-line drains from 4 inches (100mm) to 12 inches (300mm), and in some specialist cases we can re-line (75mm) soil stacks subject to a CCTV survey.

The method we use is suitable for some vertical rain water down pipes and all sewer pipes. Over the years we have been able to save between 70 and 80% of our customers costs using this method, and this has proven to be very cost effective time and time again.

All work carried out by ARD Local, re-lining and underground drainage has a 10 year guarantee workmanship and materials.

Re-lining is used more and more frequently now by the likes of local authorities, loss adjusters, architects, local builders, etc.  We have recently carried out this type of work at a school in Oxford on behalf of Mouchel Babcock, preventing the school from closing and allowing us to carry out our repair works in a cost effective way with minimal disruption.

The pictures show Engineers preparing the drain system by way of high pressure jetting to cleanse drains allowing CCTV to be carried out prior to re-lining repair works commencing.

Once the air machine has been taken up to the correct pressure, we would then allow for the resins to go off. Once the resin has activated and gone hard we would have a completely new pipe inside the old pipe. This would cover all dislodged joints, cracks, fractures and present you with a brand new pipe and a DVD digital recording showing before and after of the drain system for clients piece of mind.
